Our client requires the services of trade qualified and experienced Carpenters to join their Bridge crew.  The position is on an ongoing casual basis with permanency possible for best fit candidates.

While working as part of a small crew, you will require flexibility with a variety of tasks along with an eager willingness to learn being essential.

Ideally the successful applicants will be experienced in bridge or civil construction and maintenance, with the ability to work away from home throughout the South West region when needed.

An excellent hourly rate, overtime and all accommodation and living away from home allowances paid, if required to work away from home.

Duties include, however not limited to:

• General bridge structural maintenance and construction
• Concrete works, pouring, digging and backfilling
• Formwork and steel assistance
• Reinstatement work, fencing & vegetation clearing
• Maintenance and repairs of the road and bridge network
• Traffic management

To be considered you must have:

• Relevant Trade Certificate in Carpentry
• Safety Awareness Construction Industry White Card
• Current WA ‘MR’ or ‘HR’ Drivers Licence
• Experience in civil carpentry, steel fixing or concreting or within a similar role highly regarded
• Willingness to work as a hands on all-rounder where required
