Duties:
- Daily preparation of shots in order to blast the pit floors – delineation, priming, loading, stemming and tying in.
- Blast crew members may also assist other job roles including: Vacuum Drilling, Blast Hole Drilling, SME Operator or Fixed Plant Operator.
- Must be a resident of Boddington or within Mandurah / Pinjarra / Dwellingup locations – DIDO / BIBO ONLY
- Blast Operator experience, will be well regarded
- Must be able to work a rotating Sportsmans Roster of 12hr days Monday to Sunday
- Able to follow strict and rigid safety protocols, with demonstrated accuracy through a high level of attention to detail
- Motivated and prepared to learn along with capability to focus on repetitive manual handling tasks through individual physical fitness
- Willingness to successfully complete a pre-employment mining medical inclusive of D&A screen.
- Have or be willing to get a Danger Goods Security Card
