South West Personnel are currently undertaking a bulk recruitment campaign to support our local clients who are large meat processing facilities supplying quality products to the domestic and international markets.
Currently seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our recruitment pipeline of meat processing team members. These are excellent entry level opportunities to build a long-term career or eligible short term visa workers’ to contribute within a leading meat production facility that values safety, teamwork and product quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and preparing meat products to quality standards this will include trimming, cutting, packaging and labelling products ready for despatch
- Operating processing equipment and machinery
- Cleanliness and hygiene standards to be maintained to high grade standards
- Working collaboratively as part of a team to meet production targets
- Previous experience in the meat industry or food related processing is preferred but not essential
- Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks whilst maintaining to work in a fast-paced processing environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality output ready for export or supermarket shelves
- Reliable attendance , able to follow instruction with a positive work ethic
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport
- Willing to undertake pre-employment medical and random onsite DAS
- Full working rights in Australia
